does anyone know about this?

i had a spam message, and when i clicked, it was unlike my usual spam messages.  it's for some story page "peach club".  has anyone heard of it before?  is it actually spam, or is it a proper decent story site?

it's a bit odd that they say stuff like "You write great erotica, and we need great erotica to get this community off the ground."

also stuff like "As I said, it's 100% free to post your work to the site."  i mean, duh.  who would pay to post stuff?

    1. i'm less inclined to think it's really a scam site, as they had like a dozen stories total last i looked. something scammier would have stolen a bunch of stuff to fill out. i don't know. maybe i'll throw the first bit of exhibition at them, and see how that gets ranked. i guess the worst case is that more people come here, read all my unfinished stuff, and make me feel worse about not writing more.

i would if i could. get home late from work everyday, eat something to keep me going, read internet, watch a few tv shows, push through to set up tumblr reblogs, pass out watching videos by and for people who are more stylish than i can ever do.

and then when i plan to be productive on the weekend, the trades go away so it's unbearable to do anything other than go someplace with a/c, most of which would fround on me writing porn in their store.

who knows. maybe it's time to just give up, post my notes fragments so people can get some closure on how things would have gone, and just accept i'm not active enough to make my stories a big thing.

i don't know. maybe i should wrap up and try to devote my time to begin a for-realsies grown up, and figure out that works. crappily, from what i've seen.

i'm just in a grumpy mood today. sorry.

    2. Just write what you want, when you want.

If anybody complains, you can always give them their money back. :)

It's probably not an actual scam site. It's more likely just one of the hundreds of porn sites that pop up every year, pull in a few gullible subscribers for minimal effort, and then just stop updating when they realize porn is an intensely competitive business.

Worst case scenarios would be that they either take credit for your work themselves, or start charging people for access to your work without giving you a cut.

Best case scenario is you end up with more people who are incredibly vague dropping by your blog at random intervals.
